Ruff Mutt Border Collie was founded in 2004 by Debbie Schwagerman after she got her first dog, Rascal (JRT/Pointer) and got involved in flyball. It was then she decided she wanted a border collie of her own so she searched on Petfinder until the perfect dog came up. She adopted SoBe from the Oklahoma City animal shelter in September of 2004, and the rest as they say, is history.
 
In her spare time, Debbie enjoys dog sports with her pack of dogs. Together they compete in flyball, frisbee, agility and dock diving. They also enjoy hiking and swimming.
